Bhakkar (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Independent candidate Ameer Muhammad Khan has won PP-89 with 63197 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Independent candidate won in PP-89 Bhakkar-I constituency with 63197 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Makhdoom Syed Ali Raza Shah was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 55046 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Rana Muhammad Shafique who got 26641 votes.

At least 18 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-89. In 2013 elections, there were 156241 voters registered in PP-89, out of which 100975 votes were polled out.
