SHC Appoints Commissioner To Conduct Inquiry Of An Amenity Plot

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : The Sindh High Court here Thursday appointed an Additional Registrar as inquiry officer to conduct inquiry of an amenity plot of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) on which a commercial plaza is being constructed.
According to the details, the petitioner Shahnawaz Ali maintained in his plea that a petrol pump was earlier built on the 1,100-acre plot located in Latifabad Unit 2 on Autobahn road. He added that now the authorities had approved construction of a private commercial plaza on the same plot which amounted to encroachment on the government land.
THe petitioner prayed the court to order the builder and the authorities to stop construction of the project. The Hyderabad Circuit Bench director the Additional Registrar of SHC to conduct inquiry and submit report in the court at the next date of hearing scheduled on Nov 24.
