Teenage Doda Boy Booked Under Draconian PSA

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Augst,2016) : As Kashmir Intifada has spread over to the Jammu region, the authorities booked a 19 year-old medical student,in Indian held Kashmir, under draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) in Doda for protesting against the killings in the Valley. Rehmutallah, son of Abdul Rashid of Bhata Dessa in Doda district was coming out from the Jama Masjid of the hilly town, when he was dragged out and bundled in the police vehicle by the police team led by SHO, Doda,Kashmir Media Service reported.
Family members of the arrested youth said that their son was falsely booked under PSA by the police and civil administration by working under a hidden agenda. "They took into their custody several youths yesterday including Rehmtullah when protests triggered.
The police was responsible for creating chaos after the Friday prayers," said family members. He has been shifted to the fortified Kotbalwal Central Jail in Jammu district, said family members who were worried about the safety of their son.
