Training Workshops Started For Police Officers In Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi District Police on the directive of Inspector General of Police Punjab Amjad Javed Saleemi, have launched two four-day training workshops at Police Line, Headquarters under the supervision of City Police Officer, Rawalpindi Abbas Ahsan.
Police spokesman told here Tuesday that the psychologists and instructors of Police College Sihala are delivering lectures particularly to change attitudes of the police officers. Assistant Sub-Inspector to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) officers are attending the workshops. He informed that the training workshops were being organized across the province to bring changes in attitude of the police officers and officials.
The workshops are being organized under the supervision of additional IG Training. The police have decided to arrange refresher courses for police officers with the specific purpose to bring an improvement in investigation process and ensure professional approach during handling of various cases. The modern investigation and refresher courses are being launched to build the capacity of the police investigators in the province, he added.
He said that best training for the police force is top priority of the department and all available resources would be utilized for this purpose. The new police recruits are directed to perform their duties with new spirit in order to bring a positive change in Thana culture, he added.
