Shaan Shahid Congratulates Babra Sharif For Receiving Sitara-i-Imtiaz

Babra Sharif was conferred with one of the highest civil awards, Sitara-i-Imtiaz, for her contribution to Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th March, 2019) Legendary actress Babra Sharif was conferred with Sitara-i-Imtiaz in the Pakistan Day ceremony held on March 23.
An investiture ceremony was held at Aiwan-e-Sadr Saturday evening where President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi conferred civil awards to individuals demonstrating feats in different fields of science and arts.
At least 171 personalities, including some foreigners, were selected for this year's awards.
Among several artists, Babra Sharif was conferred with one of the highest civil awards, Sitara-i-Imtiaz, for her contribution to Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar conferred the award to Babra Sharif.
Babra Sharif was one of the most deserved recipients of the award as he has given her whole life to Pakistani cinema.
Several celebrities have been congratulating the acclaimed actress for the achievement.
Actor Shaan Shahid also took to Twitter to extend wishes to Babra Sharif upon receiving the award. He thanked the actress for serving the nation with her craft for 50 years.
“My heartiest congratulations on a truly well deserved award.. Thankyou Babra Jee for serving the nation for 50 years..with your craft ..❤️🙏🏼🇵🇰🎥” he wrote.
