TDAP Collaborates With PFDC For Holding Fashion Show

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) collaborated with the Pakistan Fashion Design Council (PFDC) for organising a three-day fashion show called "PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2019" recently held as the sideline of TEXPO 2019 (2nd International Textile Exhibition)
According to a press release issued here on Thursday,"The PFDC is a national body set up for the promotion of fashion industry in Pakistan and acts as mouthpiece for the fashion industry." The series of shows featured a spectrum of top designers from Pakistan, including Sana Safinaz, Sania Maskatiya, HSY, Nomi Ansari, Sania Maskatiya, Zara Shahjehan, Yasir Waheed, Zaha by Khadija Shah, Chapter 2 of Khaadi, Hussain Rehar, Republic by Omar Farooq, Fahad Hussayn and Saira Shakira.
Established designers and international buyers attending recently held TEXPO 2019 were exposed to emerging designers and rising talents in the fashion industry during the fashion week.
It is pertinent to mention here that in the 2nd edition of TEXPO 363 foreign buyers/importers from 70 countries visited the exhibits of 231 exhibitors participating in TEXPO to get first hand experience of the whole range of textile products being offered by Pakistan.
Prominent buyers who attended the TEXPO, 2019 included Uniqlo Co Ltd (Japan), Target Inc (USA), Primark (UK), Orient International Holding (China), Tendam (Spain), Versaudet (France), Ituri (Spain), Fashionlinq BV (the Netherlands) and others.
