KP Handicap Twenty20 Cricket From January 15

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Dec, 2016 ) : The 3rd edition of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Handicap Twenty20 cricket Tournament will be commencing at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium from January 15, 2017.
This was stated by Secretary General KP Handicap Cricket Association Syed Jaffar Shah w hile talking to APP here on Saturday. Syed Jaffar Shah, who is also coach in the Directorate of Sports KP, disclosed that a total of eight teams would take part from all seven regions comprising Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Kohat, Mardan, Swat, Hazara while host Peshawar.
He said four teams of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be selected from all seven regions while four teams will be part from FATA. He said preparation for the smooth sailing of the tournament has already been kicked off.
He said attractive trophies and cash prizes would also be given to the winners, runners-up and third position team only to encourage the special players to come up and participate in sports activities. He said Olympian Nasullah Khan, who represent Pakistan in the Athens Paralympic Games is nominated as Tournament Director. APP/ijz/ff
