The Peshawar Zalmi take on the Quetta Gladiators in the 23rd match of the third season of Pakistan Super League
Dubai, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2018) The Peshawar Zalmi take on the Quetta Gladiators in the 23rd match of the third season of Pakistan Super League. The match will begin at 9 PM PST (4 PM GMT).
Today’s Match will be the repeat of the final match of last season of PSL and the replica of the encounter held on 1st March which was one of the best games of the competition. In that game, Quetta Gladiators were seen running away from the game although they had scored 141 runs for eight wickets down.
Peshawar Zalmi took a wonderful start of the batting which led them closer to the victory but sudden fall of the wickets made the things difficult. In the end, Peshawar Zalmi needed 18 runs to win from just 9 balls.
In this critical position of the match, Darren Sammy, Captain of Peshawar Zalmi, came at the batting point although he was injured from his one leg. With just one fit leg, Sammy slammed the Quetta Bowlers for 16 runs at just 4 balls.
Such a tremendous performance by the limping Captain guided his team to the victory. It is to be remembered that Sammy could not play his next two games because of injury and the Zalmi lost two of their three next games.
Sammy is now back to the game and he is very much confident for today’s victory. He wants to refresh the memories of the final match of the previous season when Peshawar Zalmi defeated Quetta Gladiators after an exciting contest.
