Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that successful holding of PSL-3 is a victory of the nation.
LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2018 ) :Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that successful holding of PSL-3 is a victory of the nation. He said that a clear message has been given to the enemies by holding of the matches in Lahore and Karachi that the spirit and commitment of the nation could not be defeated, according to a handout issued here on Monday.
Appreciating the wonderful arrangements made for PSL-3 matches in Lahore and Karachi, the CM said that he congratulated the nation for making the best arrangements for the cricket fans. After Lahore, the peaceful holding of final in Karachi proved that Pakistanis love sports and peaceful Pakistan had won, he added.
The whole nation had given invaluable sacrifices for maintaining peace and due to these efforts, the sports activities had been restored in the country.
With the grace of Allah Almighty, 22 crore people of Pakistan had achieved success and like the PSL-2, the PSL-3 had also been won by Pakistan and the enemies defeated.
The enemies of the country, terrorists as well as extremists have been defeated, he said. During the matches, the whole nation was united and displayed national unity fervently. He said that nations move forward with hard work, commitment and honesty and Pakistani nation would be strengthened by following these principles.
The nation has fully exhibited unity and cohesion and the PSL matches have written a new history while the courage and passion of the nation are further augmented, concluded the chief minister.
