Indus River System Authority Releases 264,200 Cusecs Water

The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Monday released 264,200 cusecs water from its various rim stations with inflow of 174,800 cusecs.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Sep, 2018 ) :The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Monday released 264,200 cusecs water from its various rim stations with inflow of 174,800 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1513.98 feet.
Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 59,900 cusecs while outflow as 130,000 cusecs.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1169.40 feet, which was 129.40 feet higher than its dead level of 1,040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 10,700 cusecs and 30,000 cusecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 128,900, 117,400 and 32,400 cusecs respectively.
Similarly from the Kabul River, 12,900 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 78,600 cusecs from the Chenab River at Marala.
