PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Sep, 2021 ) :Special Assistant to Chief Minister, Kamran Bangash on Thursday said that Kissan cards was a landmark steps towards achieving agricultural and food self-sufficiency and providing excellent research and education facilities to students.
He termed launching of Kissan Card, by Prime Minister Imran Khan in DI Khan, was yet another game-changer scheme of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to fulfill promise of public service and welfare state as per vision of Prime Minister.
He said that Agriculture�Transformation Plan will prove to be a revolutionary step towards development of�agriculture�sector .
He said that sustainable development of�agriculture�sector, facilitating the farmers and�food�security ware amongst priority areas of provincial government;�all�the available resources are being utilized for the purpose under well devised strategy.
Under the Kissan Cards, subsidy will be given to farmers on fertilizer, agri- medicines , equipments and machinery and in the second phase, soft loans to insurance on crops will be given to farmers, he said.
