Plan Devised To Improve Agriculture Sector: Minister Mohib Ullah Khan

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, Mohib Ullah Khan Wednesday said that comprehensive plan has been devised for the development of agriculture during coming five year while federal government has initiated mega projects of Rs 14 billion in the province
Inaugurating an agriculture extension project in Salah Khana area of Tehsil Pabbi, he said that government of PTI was working to address issue of water shortage by increasing level of underground water resources besides constructing small dams.
He said that result oriented planning has been finalized to improve agriculture and livestock sector according to the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He said that improvement of livestock and agriculture sector is among the topmost priorities of the government as majority of population residing in rural areas are associated with this sector.
The Minister informed that government and farmers are in close liaison and training programs would be started to create awareness among the stakeholders for developing of livestock sector on modern lines adding that steps have also been taken for soil conservation research and small arid dams.
