Russia's trade surplus in January-November of 2018 increased by 1.7 times compared to the same period in 2017 and amounted to $175.6 billion, according to a preliminary report published by the Central Bank on Tuesday.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th December, 2018) Russia's trade surplus in January-November of 2018 increased by 1.7 times compared to the same period in 2017 and amounted to $175.6 billion, according to a preliminary report published by the Central Bank on Tuesday.

"The foreign trade surplus growth by 1.7 times to $175.6 billion against a backdrop of favorable price conditions for goods exported from Russia and low import rates, played a key role in the dynamics of the balance of payments," the report said.
