
Shanghai Stocks End Lower, Hong Kong Slightly Up

HONG KONG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Augst,2016) - Shanghai stocks closed lower Wednesday as investors awaited the release of more economic data and corporate earnings, while Hong Kong ended slightly up.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.
23 percent, or 6.93 points, to 3,018.75. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, lost 0.33 percent, or 6.50 points, to 1,976.16. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index added 0.1 percent, or 26.82 points, to 22,492.43.
