24 NHA Vehicles Sold Out Through Auction For Rs 30.499mln

The National Highway Authority (NHA) has sold out its all 24 vehicles for Rs 30.499 million through open auction, held at the regional office here on Monday.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :The National Highway Authority (NHA) has sold out its all 24 vehicles for Rs 30.499 million through open auction, held at the regional office here on Monday.
According to the sources, the vehicles including Prado, GLIs, Land-Cruisers, Alto, Jimmy, Bolan and others had been put on auction while more than 70 parties participated in the auction.
The auctions are being made under government's austerity campaign. NHA Member Admin Ali Sher Mehsood and member central zone Naveed Iqbal Wahla supervised the auction.
The NHA will auction about 219 vehicles at all its offices in the country and the process of auction will continue till Nov 5.
After Lahore, more vehicles will be auctioned at Multan, Sukkur, Quetta, Karachi and Gilgit-Baltistan.
So far, 62 vehicles had been sold out in Islamabad, 15 in Peshawar and nine in Abbotabad.
