ANF Seizes 101 Kg Narcotics In 15 Operations

Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Pakistan has seized 101.49 kg Narcotics valuing Rs 153.97 million in international market, arrested 19 culprits including three ladies and impounded five vehicles while conducting 15 counter-narcotic strikes
According to an ANF spokesman, the seized drugs comprised of 92.2 kg Hashish, 4.5 kg Heroin, 1.84 kg Opium and 2.95 Kg Amphetamine (Ice).
ANF Rawalpindi arrested an accused namely Muhammad Ramzan resident of Faisalabad at Islamabad International Airport and recovered 970 gram Amphetamine from his personal possession.
In another operation ANF Rawalpindi recovered 640 grams Opium from personal possession of the arrested accused identified as Mir Qalam r/o Kohistan. He was arrested from Hanzal Pain, Gilgit. In third operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested an accused namely Mukamal Shah r/o Charsadda and recovered one kg Hashish from his personal possession. He was arrested near Motorway Bus Stop, GT Road, Islamabad. In fourth operation, ANF Rawalpindi recovered one kg Hashish from personal possession of the arrested accused namely Gul Zameen r/o Khyber Agency. He was arrested near Motorway Bus Stop, GT Road, Islamabad. In fifth operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested Jaffar Ali r/o Swabi and lady accomplice namely Ameena r/o Buner at Islamabad International Airport and recovered 980 grams Amphetamine from personal possession of the both accused persons. In sixth operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested two lady accused namely Anam Ishfaq and Abida Arbab both r/o Peshawar and recovered three kg Heroin from their personal possession. Both were arrested near Chungi No 26 Bus Stop, Islamabad.
ANF Lahore arrested two accused persons namely Muhammad Shoukat and Muhammad Asghar both r/o Muzaffargarh and recovered 2.4 kg Hashish.
They were arrested near Bahawal Nala Stop, Godar Chowk, Muzaffargarh.
In another operation, ANF Rawalpindi intercepted a car near Faizpur Motorway Interchange, Sheikhupura and recovered 14.4 kg Hashish. A person on board namely Waris Ali r/o Sialkot was arrested on the spot. In third operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a car near Sakhi Sarwar Toll Plaza, DG Khan-Quetta Road, DG Khan and recovered 12 kg Hashish from secret cavities of the said vehicle. Resultantly two accused persons namely Muhammad Rozi Khan r/o KP and Muhammad Danish r/o Quetta were arrested during the operation.
In fourth operation, ANF Lahore intercepted a car near Mana Morr, located at Borewala-Arifwala Road, Vehari and recovered 21 kg Hashish from secret cavities of the said vehicle. Three persons onboard namely Sami Ullah, Muhammad Usman r/o Quetta and Malik Arshad r/o Kasur were arrested on the spot. In fifth operation, ANF Lahore arrested an accused namely Muhammad Ahmed r/o Lahore and recovered seven kg Hashish. He was arrested near Emporium Mall, Johar Town, Lahore.
ANF Peshawar conducted an intelligence based raid at Peshawar Lahore Goods Transport Company located near Haji Camp Bus Terminal, Peshawar and recovered 20.4 kg Hashish, 1.2 kg Opium and 500 gram Heroin which were concealed in four sacks of used cloths. In another operation, ANF Peshawar arrested an accused namely Tahir Shah r/o Khyber Agency and recovered one kg Hashish. In third operation, ANF Peshawar intercepted a car and recovered one kg Heroin and one kg Amphetamine.
Culprit succeeded to escape taking advantage of darkness.
ANF Karachi intercepted a Troller from Total petrol Pump located near Al-Asif Square, Super Highway, Karachi and recovered 12 kg Hashish. A person onboard namely Rozi Khan r/o Balochistan was arrested on the spot.
All cases have been registered at respective ANF Police Stations under CNS Act 1997 while further investigations are underway.
