Crown Club Khanewal Wins Cricket Match

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Nov, 2016 ) : The Crown cricket club Khanewal has defeated Kabirwala club by 19 runs during a friendly cricket match played at Kabirwala sports stadium here on Saturday.
Playing first, Crown club scored 212 runs for the loss of eight wickets in fixed 20 overs. Asim Sheikh was top scorer for making 80 runs while Wahid made 53 runs and Kher Muhammad contributed 25 runs to the total.
Tahir and Ghazanfar of Kabirwala club took two wickets each while Shahbaz took two wickets. The Kabirwala club failed to achieve the target as the whole team returned to pavilion at a total of 193 runs.
Yasir made 47 runs, Usman 34, Qayyom, 25, Ahsen 22 and Jahangir made 15 runs. Muhammad Ali Babar of Crown club took three wickets while Umer Farooq and Abid Ali took two wickets each. Asif Sheikh was declared man of the match for outstanding performance.
