Farooq Sattar Decides To Lead Deceased Ali Raza' S Mission Of Reconciliation Among Divided Groups Of MQM

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Farooq Sattar termed reconciliation in all the divided groups of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) pertinent to restore peace in Karachi besides to counter terrorism and target killing.
Talking to media on Thursday he said,"I appreciated MQM leader Syed Sardar Ahmed for uniting the divided groups adding I welcomed his call first for reconciliation between divided groups of the party".
Condemning the murder of former MNA and MQM leader Ali Raza Abidi, he said, "he was one of his best friends and it was the deceased's desire to unite all the divided group and now I decided to execute his mission".
"I will request to all the divided groups of the party to come forward and leave the enemies of peace behind as Karachi is an industrial hub and we should not allow anyone to destroy it," he added.
Responding to a question over the reason of Ali Raza's murder, he said security was not enough that caused the incident.
Responding to another question over security issue he said, "I had informed Sindh chief ministers through letters before and after elections 2018 about lack of security and asked for providing more security to prominent political figures keeping in view law and order situation of the city." Farooq said, "The deceased Ali Raza was receiving life threats for last a few days but except of his few close friends he did not share it with anyone else."
