Implementing Quranic Teachings In Lives Key To Resolve All Issues

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2017 ) :State Minister for Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training, Engineer Baligh Ur Rehman Tuesday said understanding Quran and implementing it's teachings in daily lives is a key to resolve all issues confronted by the younger generation.
He was speaking during the inauguration ceremony of a training workshop of Master Trainers of 50 Union Councils of Islamabad. The minister acknowledged the contribution of private educational institutions which are rendering valuable services for uplift of education sector in the country.
He said all the educational institutions either private or public will be bound by the state to teach Quran while all the stakeholders are agreed over this step. He paid tribute to the private schools network for distributing free books among 50 thousand students and also provided training to the teachers.
In his welcoming address, Chairman PSN, Dr Muhammad Afzal Babar said private schools are not only helping the state through providing quality education to the students but providing respectable source of earning to thousands of teachers.
He said the government can achieve education targets through partnership with the private sector. He said this year only students of high school were provided Quran books and from the next academic year, schools at elementary and secondary level will also be included.
Scholars including Chaudhry Munir Ahmad, Naimatullah Khan and Dr. Daud Shah also addressed on the occasion. Director Ilm Foundation Pakistan , Shuja ud Din Sheikh provided training to the participants.
