Market Committee Issues Price List Of Vegetables, Fruits

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Augst,2016) : The Islamabad Market Committee on Saturday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits. According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato per kilogram is Rs 37, Onion Rs 30, Tomato 62, Ginger Rs 80, Garlic (China) Rs 265, Garlic Desi 255, Lemon Rs 70, Lady Finger Rs 65, Green Zucchini Rs 64, Pumpkin Rs 54, Brinjal Rs 42, Peas Rs 130, Farsh Bean Rs 66, Tanda Desi Rs 74, Cucumber Rs 35, Capsicum Rs 75/55, Green Chilli Rs 36, Cauliflower Rs 85/55, Cabbage Rs 48, Bittergourd Rs 52, Spinach Rs 34/23, Turnip Rs 54, Yam Rs 46, Maroo Rs 52, Carrot Rs 92, Chicken Rs 112 and Egg per dozen Rs 99.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 155/120, Apple Gaja Rs 88/60, Apple China Rs 200/150, Apple New Zealand Rs 260/230, Banana Pak Rs 78/48, Pear China Rs 155/130, Grapes(Sundar Khani) 140/125, Guava 85/60, Peach Rs 93/75, Garma Rs 64/50, Mango Najri Rs 68/50, Mango Chaunsa White Rs 110/75, Mango Chaunsa Black Rs 68/50 and Mango Ratool Rs 105/75. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
