Minister Emphasizes Need Of Strict Security Arrangements During Muharram

Sindh Minister for Revenue and Relief Makhdoom Mehboob uz Zaman has stressed upon the district administration Matiari to ensure foolproof security arrangements during Muharram ul Haram.
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Sep, 2018 ) :Sindh Minister for Revenue and Relief Makhdoom Mehboob uz Zaman has stressed upon the district administration Matiari to ensure foolproof security arrangements during Muharram ul Haram.
He also directed the management of local government institutions to ensure cleanliness and carpetting of damaged roads at the routes of mourning processions so that the mourners could not face any inconvenience during Muharram.
Presiding over a meeting at the Deputy Commissioner Office Matiari on Wednesday with the officers of the district administration, local government institutions and religious leaders, the minister also called upon the Ulema to play their key role in maintaining of law and order in the district during the month of Muharram ul Haram and avoid deliverance of such speeches which could harm the feelings of the people of other sects.
He also directed the officers of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company to revise the schedule of load shedding and avoid power closure during night hours.
The Deputy Commissioner Matiari and other concerned officers briefed the minister about the security plan for maintaining law and order as well as the health and sanitation situation of the district.
The minister was informed that the code of conduct which issued by the provincial home department would be implemented in letter and spirit and special security arrangements would also be made at the mazar of great Sufi Saint Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai.
