NAVTTC Plans To Upgrade Technical Training Institutes

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2018 ) :National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) is planning to upgrade Technical training institutes across the country, said Executive Director NAVTTC Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema.
Speaking in a MoU signing ceremony, he said maximum participation of women in technical education is imperative for national development. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between NAVTTC and Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) for upgrading Fashion Designing, I.T and Professional cooking Labs of Government Poly Technique Institute, (Women).
This will create an opportunity for the females of Islamabad and adjoining areas. The facility will also encourage the women for acquiring vocational and technical Training, said a press release.
According to the MoU, Labs of Govt. Poly Technique Institute for Women would be upgraded. Director General, Planning and Development, NAVTTC Nasir Khan and Joint Secretary CADD Alamgir Ahmad Khan signed the memorandum. Executive Director, NAVTTC Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema and Principal Government Poly Technique Institute for Women Miss. Khalida Aijaz were also present on the occasion.
