Peshawar High Court starts computerization of court record in Abbottabad

Peshawar High Court (PHC) Tuesday started the process of computerization of court record here and gave away laptops and other equipment among the court staffers including readers, moharrars in this regard.

While addressing the inauguration ceremony of the the branch of PHC IT department her, Additional Registrar PHC Asif Khan said that government had allocated Rs 1.5 billion for this job and now there would be no place for the lazybones in the department.

He further said, during the first phase, courts record of seven districts those have been declared a model and the same would be replicated in rest of the areas of KP as well.

Asif Khan maintained that PHC Peshawar Information Technology department would cooperate during the whole process. He said that the concerned employees of the judicial department would have to improve their competence, we would not ignore computer literacy during the departmental promotion, adding additional registrar said.

Senior Civil Admin PHC Abdul Majid at the occasion said that we have also inaugurated Institution Branch in Abbottabad and Manshere where information system would be completely online and in this regard 300 tablets, mobile phones, and other equipment had been handed over to the judicial employees.

He disclosed that now the appellant would get all information on SMS, Abdul Majid advised the masses to must enter their cell number, CNIC number, and e-mail address while filing a case.

District and Session Judge Sofia Waqar at the occasion said that the computerized court record would be saved in Peshawar. Earlier, Additional Registrar PHC Asif Khan, District and Session Judge Sofia Waqar and Senior Civil Judge Abdul Majid have distributed the equipment to provide court record online.
