PML-N Leader Calls For Authorizing Rangers 3 More Years To Completely Restore Peace In Karachi

HYDERABAD, Jan. 17 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2017 ) : The Secretary Information Pakistan Muslim League (N) Hyderabad Division Jamal Arif Suharwardi called upon the Chief Minister to empower the Rangers for a period of three years for complete restoration of peace and tranquility in Karachi.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he said that the Rangers played key role in combating terrorism and extortion in Karachi which resulted in restoration of law and order in Karachi, the fifth largest metropolitan city in the world.
He said that the Rangers had rendered sacrifices to achieve the required tasks of maintaining peace and tranquility which brought sigh of relief to the people of all segments of life against terrorism, extremism, target killings, extortion and heinous crimes.
In view of such efforts, he said that Sindh government should empower the Rangers for a period of three more years so that complete peace and tranquility could be restored in Karachi.
