Polio Monitoring Team Holds Meeting With Commissioner

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jul, 2018 ) :A delegation of Independent Monitoring board for Polio Initiative held meeting with Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Salih Ahmad Farooqi at his office.

According to an official statement issued here on Sunday the Commissioner Karachi while talking to the delegation said that all possible steps are being taken to eliminate the polio from the country.

He informed the delegation that so far no case of polio is recorded from Karachi and Sindh province this year.

The Commissioner also appreciated the role of international partners for the eradication of polio from the society.

On the occasion members of the delegation Dr.Naveed Sadozai, Ms.Christine Atheli, Commissioner Karachi's Coordinatorfor Polio Task Force Nusrat Ali and others were also present.
