PTC Issue Echoes In Balochistan Assembly

QUETTA (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) : The lawmakers participating in debate in the Balochistan Assembly on Police Training Center Quetta carnage demanded of the government to take stern action against terrorists for restoration of durable peace in the province.
The assembly session was held with Speaker, Ms. Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani in chair, here Monday, which was also attended by Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri. Participating in adjournment motion to discuss PTC Quetta carnage, the Opposition leader, Maulana Abdul Wasey said innocent people were killed in attacks on Police Training Center Quetta.
He said the government would have to take practical measures to curb terrorism.
Deputy Opposition Leader, Eng. Zamarak Piralizai said concreted steps were need of hour to provide security to lives and properties of people.
"There is need to take concreted steps to control terrorism to make our land peaceful," he said. Responding to them, the Chief Minister said the government had designed policies and strategies to end terrorism on permanent basis.
"We are going to take stern actions against terrorists to make our province peaceful," he said. Provincial Home Minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said land of Afghanistan was being used for terrorism in Balochistan. He emphasized the need that all stakeholders would have to play their due role in war on terror.
