Iqra Aziz Speaks About Women Respecting Women

Says it’s not only the men who need to respect women, women too need to respect other women

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th July, 2018) Actress Iqra Aziz has given a new perspective to women empowerment.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Iqra said that only men need to respect women but women should respect other women too.

“It’s not only the men who need to respect women, women too need to respect other women,” she wrote in her tweet.

The tweet received a mix response as men called her out for leaving them behind as nobody is asked to respect them.

TV anchor Iqrar ul Hassan Syed jumped in to ask if anyone has to respect men.

“And there’s no one to respect men ?? 🤔🧐” he asked.

To this, Iqra said, “I’m not even talking about men here, I’m only talking about women. We always say, “MEN SHOULD RESPECT WOMEN.” Lekin agar ek aurat dusri aurat ki izzat aur morals ko nahi samjhti, then how do you expect the world to stand for you.”

Later, Iqra added for Iqrar that he is surely respected by a lot of women.

"Don’t know about other men but you are surely respected by a lot of women," she said.
