Play 'Hai Haq Hamara Azadi' at RAC paid tributes to Kashmiri people

In connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day, a thematic play 'Hai Haq Hamara Azadi' was staged here under auspices of Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) to depict Indian atrocities on the innocent people of Kashmir

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Feb, 2018 ) :In connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day, a thematic play 'Hai Haq Hamara Azadi' was staged here under auspices of Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) to depict Indian atrocities on the innocent people of Kashmir.

The play was written by Saleem Afandi and directed by Rukhsana Shah alias Sapna Shah while acted by senior artist Masood Khawaja, Waheed Minhas, Sapna Shah, Saleem Afandi, Jhalak Ali, Liaqat Shah, Tahir Sherazi, Fahad Sheikh, Usman, Anjum Abbasi, Raja Sattar, Akhtar and Ehsan Qureshi.

The object of the drama was to highlight the current situation of Indian Held Kashmir particularly after the sad demise of renowned Hurriyat leader, Burhan Wani.

The play paid tributes to struggle of Kashmiri people for their separate homeland.

Addressing at the occasion, former Director RAC Naheed Manzoor said that the international community knew what was happening in Kashmir so the world powers and human rights organizations should play their role to resolve the longstanding issue.

Director RAC Waqar Ahmed applauded the stage play and highlighted how, the Indian forces were trying to suppress innocent people of occupied Kashmir.
