Dry Weather To Prevail,rain At Isolated Places 5 Oct 2018

Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in next 24 hours, however rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

A shallow westerly wave is still affecting northern parts and its adjoining areas, likely to persist during next 24 hours, official of Met office told APP.

Weather remained dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Kohat, Mardan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions and Kashmir.

The rainfall during last 24 hours occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at Malamjabba 09mm, Kalam, Dir, Mirkhani 06mm, Saidu Sharif, Abbotabad 05mm, Drosh and Prachinar 04mm, Risalpur 03mm, Kohat 02mm, Lower Dir, Pattan, Balakot 01, in Punjab at Mandi bahaudin 08mm, Kamra 05mm, Mianwali 03mm, Chakwal 02mm, Mangla and Jhelum 01mm, in Kashmir at Muzffarabad 01mm.

Yesterday's highest maximum temperatures recorded at Turbat 42'C, Mithi 41' C, Padidan 41'C, Dadu 41'C. However, minimum temperature recording during last 24 hours in Islamabad 30'C, Chitral 25'C, Muzffarabad 22'C, Quetta 28'C, Gilgit 28'C, Peshawar 31'C, Murree 19'C.
