Smog Disrupts Routine Life In Bahawalpur

Heavy smog engulfed entire Bahawalpur region and disrupted routine life activities on Wednesday

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jan, 2019 ) :Heavy smog engulfed entire Bahawalpur region and disrupted routine life activities on Wednesday.

The local Met Office said that heavy smog has hit the regions including Bahawalpur, Rahimyar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Multan, Khanewal and other areas. It said that smog would continue for next 48 hours.

Due to smog, the weather has turned very cold and chilled, forcing people to live indoors.

Traffic was thin on roads and there was low attendance in offices and educational institutions. Due to gas load shedding, difficulties of people have also been increased.

The Met Office has forecast partly cloudy and cold weather for the city and other parts of the region during next 24 hours.

The maximum and minimum temperature of 21 and 06 degree Centigrade were forecast for next 24 hours.
