The Battle of Badr was fought against the people of Makkah. There were 313 Muslims in the war with 31 armored soldiers, eight swords, 70 camels, and two horses. However, Allah Almighty showered rain at night, so the Muslim army collected enough water for them. The non-Muslim army numbered 1,000 protected soldiers. They had 700 camels and 300 horses.

In this war, the Muslims won. This battle proved beneficial for the Muslims as all converted to Islam except for two people. The Muslims lost only 14 people, while among the non-Muslims, 70 were killed, and Muslims took 70 prisoners and kindly treated them.

Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said in the explanation of Majma 'al-Bayan that whoever recites Surah Muhammad will be satisfied by drinking from the rivers of Jinnah. Anyone who recites this surah will never doubt his religion. He won't fall into any polytheism or disbelief. On his death, a thousand angels will send greetings to his grave. When he rises from his grave, he will see the Holy Prophet's honored face (P.B.U.H).
