Peoples' Role Stressed In Clean & Green Punjab Program

He was addressing the opening ceremony of pilot project started in 10 union councils of the district in connection with Clean & Green Punjab Programme under the aegis of Faisalabad Waste Management Company.
A ceremony was held at Faisalabad Arts Council in this regard here Wednesday.
The MPA said on the occasion that Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision was being followed as the Clean & Green Pakistan campaign had been launched in the country.
He said that major cause of diseases was polluted environment which could be controlled by keeping the environment clean.
The lawmaker said that peoples' cooperation was needed to make the environment healthy and clean.
He urged the people to actively take part in the Clean & Green Pakistan campaign.
Deputy Commissioner Sardar Saifullah Dogar said that youth should play their due role in development and progress of the country.
He said that smog in the weather could increase in the days to come if effective measures are not taken.
Managing Director FWMC Aamad Gill said that creating awareness among the masses about importance of cleanliness was need of the hour.
Later, a walk was also held from Arts Council to Commissioner office.
