S Korea Envoy Praises National University Of Modern Languages For Korean Language Promotion

South Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Kwak Sung-kyu Tuesday lauded the efforts of the National University of Modern Languages (NUML)'s management for the promotion of Korean language

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2019 ) :South Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Kwak Sung-kyu Tuesday lauded the efforts of the National University of Modern Languages (NUML)'s management for the promotion of Korean language.

He expressed these views during the 13th Korean Language speech contest held here, a press release said.

After listening to the speeches, he said NUML must be appreciated for imparting Korean language among the students effectively.

NUML Rector Major General Zia Ud Din Najam (Retd), Direct General Brig Muhammad Ibrahim, deans, director King Sejong Institute and Head of Department Korean Language Dr Atif Faraz, representatives of Korean companies, faculty members and large number of students also attended the ceremony.

The envoy said NUML was playing a key role in promoting Korean Language and its culture in Pakistan.

The NUML rector highlighting the importance of Korean language said NUML had launched the Korean language courses in its Lahore, Faisalabad and Karachi campuses, and soon the same would also be started in other campuses.

He said Pakistan and Korea enjoyed strong bilateral ties and those relations would boost further in future.

Earlier, nine students took part in 13th Korean Speech Contest and Lei Wei won the first prize. She was rewarded with certificate and cash prize.
