8 Gamblers Netted; Rs51,410 Cash Stake Money Recovered In Rawalpindi

Police Friday arrested eight gamblers besides recovering Rs51,410 cash stake money, 10 mobile phones and other items from their possession
According to a police spokesman, City police acting on a tip-off conducted a raid in Gawalmandi Chowk area in its jurisdiction and held eight gamblers namely Muhammad Khurram, Najeeb, Zulfiquar, Abdul Hameed, Muhammad Sakir, Muhammad Ali, Adnan and Raza Muhammad allegedly involved in betting while playing cards and recovered Rs 51,410 cash stake money and 10 mobile phones from their possession.
A case has been registered against all the accused while further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, Sadiqabad police on an information raided in 'Jahaz Ground' area in its jurisdiction and arrested two suspected dacoits namely Bilal Abbasi and Shah Zaib.
Police recovered two 30 bore pistols and seven rounds from their possession.
