CPO Visits Routes Of Processions On The Eve Of Youm-e-Ali

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2019 ) :City Police Officer (CPO) Capt � Faisal Rana visited various routes of processions on the eve of Youm-e-Shahadat Hazrat Ali (RA) and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements, informed police spokesman here on Sunday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Rawal Division Muhammad Akram Niazi was also present on the occasion.
According to police spokesman, police have finalized a comprehensive plan and as many as 2,000 cops would be deployed in Rawalpindi on Youm-e-Ali.
Moreover, CCTV cameras would be installed while the procession route was divided into four parts.
No one would be allowed to carry weapons in the processions while all mourners would be vetted through three layers of security at all entry points.
Meanwhile, Rescue 122 along with other departments have been alerted in case of any emergency situation.
The markets and buildings on procession routes would be barricaded with barbed wires. According to programme, 101 majalis congregations will be held on the occasion to mark the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA).
