FGIR Probing Train Accident

MULTAN,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -16th Sept,2016) : Federal Government Inspector Railways (FGIR) Mian Arshad on Friday started investigation into trains accident that occured on Thursday. Divisional Commercial Officer (DCO) Tahir Marwat told APP that investigation proceedings would encompass recording of all proofs and evidences.
When asked whether the driver of Awam Express was held responsible for the negligence in the trains collision, he said that nobody had not yet been held responsible, adding that inquiry report would unveil facts.
He said the inquiry report would be made public after fulfilling all necessary requirements. It may be noted that four persons had died and many others sustained injuries after Awam Express smashed into a stationary goods train near Multan last Thursday.
