
Flag March By Army, Civil Law Enforcement Agencies Staged In Mirpur

MIRPUR (AJK) , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point news - 20th july,2016): The law enforcement agencies here Wednesday staged a flag march in the city streets as an exercise to maintain complete peace and order during the polling to AJK Legislative assembly elections scheduled for July 21 Thursday (today), official sources said. Besides Mirpur Deputy Commissioner Chudary Amjad Iqbal, SSP Raja Irfan Salim, Additional Deputy Commissioner Chudary Haq Nawaz, DSP City Raja Azher Iqbal, the military officials and the district administration led the flag march comprising the police and, army and para military troops including Rangers and police personnel aboard a long convoy of the state vehicles.
The flag march contingent passed through various city streets in LA- 3 (Mirpur) Constituencies besides touring the adjoining area of Khari Chachian and Jatlan falling in comparatively sensitive constituency LA-4 Mirpur. The objective of the flag march was aimed at to let the masses especially the miscreants and trouble maker elements that the law enforcement agencies were fully alert and vigilant to frustrate any attempt of unrest and disturbance on any part during the polling sources, said.
