Imran Khan Embodiment Of Iqbal's Shaheen: Punjab Minister For Information

Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Fayaz ul Hassan Chohan Friday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is an embodiment of poet of the East Allama Dr Muahammad Iqbal's concept of Shaheen.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Nov, 2018 ) :Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Fayaz ul Hassan Chohan Friday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is an embodiment of poet of the East Allama Dr Muahammad Iqbal's concept of Shaheen.

Addressing a ceremony to commemorate 141st birth anniversary of Allama Muhammed Iqbal at the Alhamra here, he said the ceremony was being held to pay homage to the great Persona of Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

The Minister said the nation was celebrating the day with zeal and fervor as the reign of the country were in the hands of a person who was a true personification of Iqbal concept of Shaheen.

Chohan said Prime Minister Imran Khan had instructured to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great poet, philosopher Iqbal in the light of his philosophy of Self and 'Ishq-e-Rasool'.

The Provincial Minister said the nation needed to convey the message to the international community that it would defeat the enemies of the country under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, adding that the antagonistic forces wanted to create sectarianism and religious extremism in the country.

He said the days were not far away when the green Pakistani passport would be respected across the world.

The Iqbal Day ceremony was attended by provincial minister for industries Mian Aslam Iqbal, Justice (R) Nasira Javed Iqbal and Yousuf Salahuddin besides a large number of people from various walks of life.
