A lawyer was deprived of car, cash and other valuables by armed dacoits near Mehr Shah bypass, here on Sunday

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2018 ) :A lawyer was deprived of car, cash and other valuables by armed dacoits near Mehr Shah bypass, here on Sunday.

According to police sources, Advocate Yasir Siddique of Khanewal city was going to Karachi along with his family members when he was intercepted by unidentified armed men near Mehr Shah bypass.

The robbers held him hostage at gunpoint and drove away his car after depriving the family of cash, mobile-phone, I-pad and other valuables.

DSP Maqbool Jutt, along with a police party, later reached the spot and got information about the incident. After some time, the police recovered the car from Basti Nizamabad in City Khanewal police area.
