PTI's 100-day plan not viable for implementation, political gimmick: Politicians

The politicians of mainstream political parties here Monday said PTI's 100-day plan was not viable for implementation and termed it another attempt to hoodwink masses in the name of change ahead of the general election 2018.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2018 ) :The politicians of mainstream political parties here Monday said PTI's 100-day plan was not viable for implementation and termed it another attempt to hoodwink masses in the name of change ahead of the general election 2018.

PMLN Parliamentary leader in KP Assembly, Sardar Aurangzaib Nalota told APP on Monday that reforms in social and economic, taxation and diplomacy sectors besides creation of South Punjab province, 10million jobs for youth and five million houses announced in 100-day plan of PTI did not match ground realities and near to impossible for implementation.

While terming the plan as jugglery of words, he said PTI Chief Imran Khan had made tall claims of bringing change during first 90 days of his government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but failed to do so even in his party's five years rule in the province.

He said PTI has neither fulfilled promise of uniformed education nor eliminated corruption and unable to complete 350 mini dams in KP. "Imran Khan had claimed of planting one billion trees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but failed in that regard," he said, adding NAB has taken notice of massive corruption in PTI's billion trees project, which exposed good governance claims of the party that came into power on the name of change.

Nalota said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was deprived of development as not a single mega project was completed during last five years except Hayatabad flyover and the province was far away from other provinces regarding development as evident from UNDP's report.

While referring Fata-KP merger point, he said PMLN has given top priority to this key issue and done tremendous work in this direction, adding bill allowing Supreme Court and Peshawar High Court's jurisdiction to Fata has been passed, which would provide speedy justice to all litigants.

He said PMLN supreme leader and former Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has first announced construction of residential units and houses for poor segment of the society after wining 2018 general election and PTI can't mislead people any more on catchy slogans.

"Before the execution of 100-days plan, KP people will hold PTI accountable for making hallow slogans of change in 90 days in the province," he remarked. He said PTI Chief Imran Khan could not betray the masses by 'jugglery of words' and hallow slogans any more.

"Inspite of enjoying full powers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa till date, PTI has failed to complete election promises made by Imran Khan during 2013 election campaign and problems of people and rampage of corruption continued in the province," he said.

Nalota said PTI leadership had chanted slogans of across the board accountability couldn't even make their own created Ehtesaab Commission operational in their province. He said CM KP has started appearance before NAB in mega corruption scandal such as leasing of 275 acres of Forest Department land in scenic Malam Jabba in Swat and alleged use of KP government's helicopter by PTI Chief Imran Khan and resultantly, the confidence of masses on PTI's anti corruption campaign has been shattered.

ANP leader and former Provincial Minister Wajid Ali Imran Khan also termed most points of PTI's 100 days plan was unworkable for implementation on ground and called it just an election stunt. "PTI leadership had also given 90 days plan for KP ahead of 2013 general election but failed to implement it even in five years long rule in the province and should ready to face people's wrath in 2018 general election," he said.

The ANP leader said PTI has habit of criticizing opponents for inauguration of the uncompleted projects but now was inaugurating the same incomplete Swat Motorway for political advantage ahead of 2018 election.

While accusing PTI of betraying KP people on the name of change, the ANP leader said PTI had overburdened province of billion rupees loans obtained for financing what he called the futile Peshawar's metro project, which the coming regime will handle and upcoming generation will have to pay heavy price for it.

"Peshawar is converted into ditches and trenches, and environmental and traffic chaos continues due to ill planning of metro project by PTI," he said, adding billions of rupees taxpayers money spent on beautification of Peshawar was wasted by PTI.

"PTI has neither implemented uniform education system nor addressed the issue of class based education system and people have to pay high fee to purchase quality education in private schools," he said.

The repeated experiences in health and education departments had badly affected performance of these important sectors in the province where people continue to suffer, saying PTI has failed to construct a single hospital in the province.

"Imran Khan had made tall claims of elimination of corruption but failed to control it in the province," he said, adding Imran Khan had leveled serious corruption allegations against his own 20 MPAs during Senate election and PTI was now facing great difficulty to pass KP budget after losing majority in the assembly.

Veteran PPP leader and former senior minister KP, Rahimdad Khan said that most of the points of PTI 100 days plan was not based on ground realities and could not be implemented. "What PTI has done in these fronts during its five rule in KP," he said.

He said Imran Khan had neither completed the promise of construction of 350 dams nor planted one billion trees in the province and failed to control corruption in the province. "Most of developmental budget in KP was lapsed during last five years and it would be indeed a great injustice with people of KP if the 2018-19 budget was not passed by the PTI Government," he maintained.

"When a party can't pass annual budget than how it would implement 100 days plan," he said, adding people could not be mislead anymore and will exercise their right of votes wisely in 2018 general election.
