Karachi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th March, 2019) The musical concert of final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 4 has been cancelled to express solidarity with martyrs of Christchurch attack.
Media reports said that the concert has been cancelled in solidarity with the New Zealand attack.
A one-minute silence will also be observed before the match to mourn the attack.
The closing ceremony will be held at 6pm. The concert is likely to be replaced with national songs, media reports said.
The ceremony will be kept simple.
The final of PSL season 4 will be held today in Karachi.
Karachi's National Stadium will be the place to be for cricket entertainment today as the two best and most popular teams - Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi - will clash in the sell-out final of the PSL final. The match will begin at 8pm.
The closing ceremony lineup included super hit performances by Junoon, Fawad Khan, Shuja Haider, Aima Baig, Young Desi, Abrar ul Haq were to perform at the closing ceremony.
Moreover, Pakistan's pop queen Nazia Hassan was also to be honored at PSL's closing ceremony.
