It is described from Imam Ja'far as-Sadiq that whoever recites Surah Yusuf daily Allah will raise him on the Day of Resurrection with Hazrat Yusuf's goodness and will be safe from the terror and suffering of that day. He will be raised from among the divine servants of Allah. Surah Yusuf also shields one's heart from illegitimate desires.
