In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

اَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِاَصۡحٰبِ الۡفِيۡلِؕ‏ ﴿۱﴾

Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant? ﴾1﴿

اَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِىۡ تَضۡلِيۡلٍۙ‏ ﴿۲﴾

Did He not bring their stratagem to naught, ﴾2﴿

وَّاَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا اَبَابِيۡلَۙ‏ ﴿۳﴾

And send against them swarms of flying creatures, ﴾3﴿

تَرۡمِيۡهِمۡ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّنۡ سِجِّيۡلٍۙ‏ ﴿۴﴾

Which pelted them with stones of baked clay, ﴾4﴿

فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفٍ مَّاۡكُوۡلٍ‏ ﴿۵﴾

And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle)? ﴾5﴿
