Shanghai Stocks Close Higher On China Data

HONG KONG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th august,2016) : Shanghai stocks closed higher Monday after price data raised hopes for China's economy stabilising, while Hong Kong shares slipped. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.
71 percent, or 21.40 points, to 3,025.68, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 1.04 percent, or 20.40 points, to 1,982.66. The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.1 percent, or 30.82 points, to 22,463.94.
