1,298 Processions To Be Taken Out On Youm-e-Ashur

A total of 1,298 processions and 4,056 majalis would be held on 10th of Moharram-ul-Haram in DG Khan division.

DERA GHAZI KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018 ) :A total of 1,298 processions and 4,056 majalis would be held on 10th of Moharram-ul-Haram in DG Khan division.

According to official sources, 256 processions and 608 majalis have been declared sensitive and police and army men would provide special security cover. All these points would be monitored through CCTV camera and some other video cameras.

The divisional administration imposed ban on entry of 120 ulema and zakir in the division.

Commissioner DG Khan Division Rana Gulzar Ahmed said that tight security would be ensured on Youm-e-Ashur.

He directed officials to ensure cleanliness and lighting along the routes of the processions. It was decided in the meeting that there would be ban on pillion riding. Similarly, the mobile phone service would remained suspended. A control room would be set up in Commissioner Office to monitor arrangements in Layyah, Rajanpur, Muzaffargah and DG Khandistricts.
