Saad Rafique Seeks Train Accident Report Within 72 Hours

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -15th Sept,2016) : Minister for Railway Khawaja Saad Rafique on Thursday sought report on the train accident at Shujabad (Multan) within 72 hours. He directed the Pakistan Railways administration to prepare a detailed inquiry report on the accident.
He expressed his grief over the loss of at least 4 lives and injuries to several people.
Saad Rafique said it was responsibility of the Pakistan Railways administration to help the injured passengers reach their destinations after proper provision of medical treatment.
He also directed the administration to carry dead bodies of the passengers to their hometowns. The passengers of Karachi bound Awam Express, which met the accident, were now on their way to Karachi via Khanewal, he added.
The minister, who was himself monitoring the restoration operation, said "The operation is being carried out with the support of local administration and it will soon be completed."
