In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

وَيۡلٌ لِّـكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةِۙ‏ ﴿۱﴾

Woe unto every slandering traducer, ﴾1﴿

اۨلَّذِىۡ جَمَعَ مَالاً وَّعَدَّدَهٗۙ‏ ﴿۲﴾

Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. ﴾2﴿

يَحۡسَبُ اَنَّ مَالَهٗۤ اَخۡلَدَهٗ‌ۚ‏ ﴿۳﴾

He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. ﴾3﴿

كَلَّا‌ لَيُنۡۢبَذَنَّ فِىۡ الۡحُطَمَةِۖ‏ ﴿۴﴾

Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. ﴾4﴿

وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا الۡحُطَمَةُؕ‏ ﴿۵﴾

Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! ﴾5﴿

نَارُ اللّٰهِ الۡمُوۡقَدَةُۙ‏ ﴿۶﴾

(It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, ﴾6﴿

الَّتِىۡ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الۡاَفۡـِٕدَةِؕ‏ ﴿۷﴾

Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). ﴾7﴿

اِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ مُّؤۡصَدَةٌۙ‏ ﴿۸﴾

Lo! it is closed in on them ﴾8﴿

فِىۡ عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍ‏ ﴿۹﴾

In outstretched columns. ﴾9﴿
