Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan

Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan son of Rana Muhammad Chiragh was born on July 6, 1942. He served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1985-88, 1988-90, 1990-93 and 1993-96; also functioned as Advisor to the Chief Minister Punjab during this period. He has returned unopposed to the Assembly for the fifth term in bye-elections 2008 against the seat vacated by Rana Abdul Sattar, who had won both National and Provincial Assembly seats and had vacated the Punjab Assembly seat
