Bajaur People Welcome Passage Of Amendment Bill Regarding FATA Merger

Workers of various political parties, social activists, youths and students of Bajaur Agency have welcomed the passage of a constitutional amendment bill by National Assembly seeking the much-awaited merger of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) with Khyber Pakhtunkhawa ( KP)
BAJAUR AGENCY, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2018 ) :Workers of various political parties, social activists, youths and students of Bajaur Agency have welcomed the passage of a constitutional amendment bill by National Assembly seeking the much-awaited merger of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) with Khyber Pakhtunkhawa ( KP).
Talking to APP correspondent here, people from different walks of life have lauded the members of National Assembly for passing historic "constitutional amendment bill' with great majority. Those who welcomed the bill included JI Bajaur chapter Chief, Qarbi Abdul Majeed, PTI Local General Secretary, Said Ahemd Jan, PTI leader, Gul Zafar Khan, Bajaur Youth Jriga President, Sadiqba Akbar, Senior human rights activist, Habib-ul- Hassan, and Fata Youth Organization Senior Vice President, Usman Mamoundzai .
They termed the passage of bill historic achievement and said that it would help merger oftribal areas with KP. PMLN member National Assembly from Bajaur Agency, Shahabuddin Khan said that passing of constitutional amendment bill in National Assembly is a great achievement for the people of tribal areas.
He said that the bill has been pending for the last two years owing to unknown reasons adding majority of political and religious parties played a significant role in this connection however, its credit goes to Federal government.
