CDGP To Award 200 Top Position Holders' Students

PESHAWAR, Aug 15 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Aug, 2018 ) :City District Government Peshawar (CDGP) has finalized the Names of 200 top position holders' students of the public sector schools of the district in the Secondary school Certificate (SSC) examination. These students will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.35,000/- each.
In this connection, a meeting held here with District Nazim, Peshawar Mohammad Asim Khan in the chair. Besides, Director, Coordination Sahibzada Mohammad Tariq, EDOs and others attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the EDOs presented a list of 200 boys and girls' students that had obtained top position in the public sector schools of the district.
190 students, who had topped their respective public sector schools will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.35,000/-each while the names of top-ten boys and girls' students were also provided to the district government. These students will be awarded laptops by the district government.
The meeting decided that function in this regard will be organized in Nishtar Hall next week wherein the newly elected Chief Minister will be chief guest while new education minister, MNAs and MPAs will also be invited to the ceremony.
